Morning Chores on a Farm

Kalona, Iowa. Perry Bender is a member of the Old Order Amish community who operates a farm and greenhouse with his wife and eight of his children. Chores on Saturday begin at 4:00 am so that 80 chickens can be dressed and ready for customers who show up as early as 7:30.
